MeowMeow

Pictured here is a drawing I did today of my cat MeowMeow.

He is full of bad habits, one of which is jumping up on top of the headboard of our bed early every morning. Once up there he ignores the laws of physics, in particular the law of gravity, as he walks back and forth above our heads. This means it is time to get up and feed him his beloved can of wet food. Even if it is only 5AM.

I drew this using several thin black markers, most of which are in various stages of dying (drying) out. That's OK though, as it enabled me to get some pretty interesting effects I wasn't planning on.

It's drawn on a manila folder I had lying around. Before I began drawing, I stained the background with a combination of coffee, and watercolour paints. I kinda like the total effect I achieved.

NOTE: I haven't been posting any drawings lately because my computer's operating system all of a sudden decided it didn't like my scanner! I had to dig out my point and shoot camera today to get this posted. Not an ideal solution, but it'll do for now.
