The Drive Up Window At My Bank

There are times when I find myself working a regular old day job (apart from my art) to pay the bills. Many of these jobs over the years have been at different banks, in various parts of the country.

Seen here is the drive up teller window at one of those banks. This is pretty much exactly what I would see when I would turn 'round in my chair and look over my left shoulder. Can you tell it was a slow day?

Yes, so slow in fact that I had time to draw this meticulously rendered view in ballpoint pen, on the back of a bank receipt! It measures only about 4 or 5 inches across, but I managed to pack a lot of detail on there, don't you think?

So yes, today's drawing is an old one (circa 2003) because I was busy all day frantically sewing a customer's order. My apologies. Tomorrow's drawing will be a brand spankin' new one!
